Göltzschtal Bridge

The Göltzschtal Bridge is the biggest brick bridge in the world, and 26 million bricks went into its creation. It is located in Mylau and once linked Leipzig and Nuremberg via railway.

 

Elstertal Bridge

The Elstertal Bridge is the Göltzschtal Bridges little sister. Containing 12 million bricks, it is the second-largest brick bridge in the world. The bridge is 279 metres long and 68 metres high.

 

Friedens Bridge, Plauen

The Friedens Bridge is one of the most significant bridge constructions in Vogtland. It is 21 metres high, 17 metres wide and 163 metres long, which makes it the biggest arched quarry stone bridge in the world.
